The value proposition at Dollar Tree is an illusion. First of all, on multiple occasions I have not gotten what I ordered, instead, it was a smaller/fewer ounces container of the same or a poor substitute. This is a big deal when you are a charity ordering 100's of something only to get half the product you paid for andoften times of poorer quality. Shipping is another problem, you place an order, and they say ground shipping is going to be over two weeks, so you pay extra (a lot) for expedited shipping, only to, when you're lucky, receive the product in 3-4 days with a ground shipping label on it, or worse yet, they profess that your order is on its way and that it must be 'lost in shipping', and then when you finally get it, the shipping label indicates it left their warehouse days after they said it was already on the road. So these issues are consistent, not anomalies, and when you call Customer Service it takes multiple phone calls adding up to hours telling multiple people how you were ripped off, and even when you get them to say that they'll give you a refund, unless you call back several more times to pressthem it will never happen. Dollar Tree is genuinely the worst company I have ever done business with.
The dollar tree in Mount pleasant iowa is horrible. I will never step foot in another dollar tree store ever again. Based on the behavior of the manager there Samantha shumaker. When I was shopping there she was being verbally abusive to her staff. Yelling at them in the office so loudly I could hear it on the other side of the store. Repeatedly screaming that her employee was a liar until the point she was crying. It was appalling. Then as I was leaving I saw her outside smoking, and on her phone. While she left the girl on register with a huge line of customers and no one came to help. I can't believe they let people like that be managment.

I've been coming to the store for the last three years when Lisa was transferred from another store. She is the best manager there. The store manager does not care about his store, she needs to become the store manager there she told me that their freezer was broken and all the food in there was bad and she's been cleaning it up trying to get rid of it + I noticed that in the upfront Pepsi coolers there's mold in them I seen her the other day cleaning them out which they do need new Pepsi coolers you cannot sell anything when the cooler is moldy. Before she was transferred there the store was empty I thought that it was going out of business she had done so much for the store the store manager needs to be fired as well as the other two that do nothing. Lisa and her teammate Maria stock so much every time I go in there they are working very hard give them girls a raise give lisa her own store you will not be disappointed she's a very hard worker.
Dave's store is so filthy that lisa cannot do everything on her own
Make LISA store manager. Get rid of the 3 lazy managers. Thanks
I shopped in the Bayshore store today. Today was bit a good day for cashier “John”. Not only did he not have a name tag on but a SERIOUS attitude. I said hello, he ignored me and started ringing my items up without a word. In fact, he started throwing my items I. The bag. Not good young man. YOU should have called out if you didn’t want to work today.
I wish I could give negative stars but it wasn’t an option . I ordered a case of water online March 6 it’s now may 29th and still no delivery. I’ve called repeatedly for days at a time, couldn’t get an agent to the phone only automated service and my option wasn’t an option so I’m just stuck

Having someone else shop for them, or requiring curbside delivery is NOT a reasonable accommodation, as it denies the "full enjoyment and equal access to facilities, services and accommodations," as REQUIRED BY LAW. To date NO LAW has been presented to me showing proof of claim from Dollar Tree and Family Dollar
They couldn't get a simple order processed. Finally I cancelled the order, now almost a month has passed and still no refund. This shopping experience was my worst so far. STRONGLY recommending NOT shopping EVER at dollar tree dot com. HORRIBLE>

The DollarTree up the road from me never has the seasonal decorations out like all the other stores in the city.
I have to hunt from store to store to get the items I’m looking for for a craft project that your website shows.
I see all kinds of cute stuff posted all made with DollarTree items & I can’t find half the items so I can do the project.

I went to Dollar Tree in Norco Ca off of Hidden Valley yesterday to purchase Valentines balloons. As normal super busy and lots of people buying balloons. I noticed tons of balloons in bunches floating around the store and wasn’t too sure how to buy-balloons so I walked up to an Asian employeee at the helium tank as she was blowing up
Bday balloons for someone else. I was waiting patiently and didn’t want to interrupt there “ anniversary “ conversation. Out if no where the employee just got crazy with me and told me “ we aren’t blowing up any Valentines balloons, don’t you see them just grab them and go.” I backed up and said oh ok thank you . So after being so rudely told off, I kinda just grabbed some balloons and went to the register. I informed both cashier me another manager , I think Cindy and let them know that if that Asian lady wasn’t happy working there she shouldn’t be working at all and not to take it out on the customers. I understand they were busy and probably a little overwhelmed or frustrated, but Damn lady what ur going through is not my fault. Leave it at home. The manager Cindy apologized and told me to make a complaint, if it wasnt for Cindy being nice as well as the cashier I spoke with, I would not return to that Dollar Tree. That Asian broad needs some customer training service FOR REAL!!!!
I shop at the Dollar Tree on 12 Mile near Mound in Warren, MI. I paid for my $8.95 bill with a $20 - i received change for a $10. I explained to the cashier I paid with a $20 she argued said I paid with a $10. I only had 3 $20's dollar bills in my purse. I realize it is only $10 but it is the principle - pretty much calling me a liar. There was a line of people behind me - she said if my register is $10 over i will call you - leave me your number. I did - but of course I never heard back This was last Saturday - the very first register. I am still angry which is why i am writing this review. Bonnie Addis
Why exchange? Why can't I get my money back when I have the receipt. So if I don't have a receipt I can still go in and exchange? Who is running this company! Something's need to change! Sometimes PEOPLE JUST WANT THEIR, money back... Big boss where ever you are!!! Even if it's like that have a sign on the front of your store! Let's not be money hungry.
